Seattle Aquarium, Bainbridge Island and Jazz Alley

We visited the Seattle Aquarium and it was a lot of fun learning about the fish and critters that live in and near the Puget Sound. We also took a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island to get away from the city and enjoyed being on the water. The last  gigs at Jazz Alley were Sunday, then we flew home on Monday.

ToP horn section did a clinic in Tacoma at Ted Brown’s Music Store. It was awesome.

The view of Mount Ranier was gorgeous. We stopped at Point Defiance on the way back. It was sunny and warm and a great day.

San Diego

Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn is always one of our favorite places to play and hang. They have a great pool, and gardens, walking trails and it is a fun venue to play. The sun is slowly sneaking out and it is about 73 degrees out and it feels good. The band plays tonight at 8 PM.

RIP Richie

We lost another friend and a great drummer recently, Richie Hayward from Little Feat.  He will be missed, but not forgotten. His funky groves and southern rock shuffle were the best.  Say hello to Lowell and keep on groovin”
