Coast to Coast Editing~ Welcome Home Mic
Mic has been editing my new book while touring the east coast. I have been making sure all edits have been done and all formatting issues addressed. Megan is finishing up all the artwork and Matt is handling the CD music/ art. The last part of any project is the craziest. Writing is creative and editing and formatting and working with technology is the most challenging part. The book should be printed and ready for distribution within the next few weeks. Thank you Mic, Meg and Matt for all your help! Julia

We Had A Ball!
Mic was invited to play the National Anthem at the Giants game by Mario Alioto and it was a big “YES”. The Giants played the Red Sox and it was a great game! The Giants won. Mic and I and Meg and her family were all treated to great seats and field access, as well as great parking and a ball signed by Lincecum. He has agreed to played it again on August 13th! Here are some pictures from a sweet day!

Hawaii!!!!!!
During Mic’s difficult to trip to Japan our family missed spending time together for Mic’s Birthday and Mother’s Day, so Mic, Megan and I decided to celebrate both events we missed, as well as Meg’s Birthday in Hawaii. We did it right and will remember this awesome vacation forever. TOP did two gigs, one on Oahu at The Blaisdell Center and another on Maui at the The Cultural Arts Center. We didn’t let work slow us down. We started at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore, then traveled to the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, and finally our last 4 days were at the Fairmont on Maui.

Trip to Yamaha in Tokyo
Well I have “a” picture from Japan that was taken at Yamaha and here it is.
Naoki Suzuki took the picture and is the Artist Relations coordinator for the Wind, String and Percussion Instruments Division.
Mr. Aoyagi (next to Mic) is in charge of Research and Development and is the master craftsman at the Tokyo headquarters. Mic wasn’t sure who the guy in the suit was. Adolfo is on the far right, what a sweetheart!
